Being opened in 1985, the Hash, Marihuana & Hemp Museum (the Museum, for short) attracts a great number of tourists from all over the world.

The Museum exposition tells in all details about the 8,000-year history of using hash for many purposes. The exhibition shows various kinds of marihuana and describes the way of growing it.

The Museum displays an amazing collection of pipes and other smoking requisites. Also visitors will know how marihuana can be used for medical purposes. For example, it was in 1554 when Dutch doctors used marihuana for the first time to cure ear pain. Various articles made of hemp that is an excellent source for textile industry are also on display.
