The Butterfly Ultramarine Cinema (the Cinema, for short) was opened on 24 December 2004 in the Ultramarine Entertainment Centre.
The Cinema consists of six auditoriums seating 333, 226, 244, 244, 134 and 134 people and is equipped with the latest projection and sound equipment as well as comfortable armchairs. The VIP Auditorium is especially comfortable and has upholstered sofas and tables only. The other auditoriums also have such sofas.
Six auditoriums make it possible to show the whole range of films distributed in Ukraine including films for children and adults, blockbusters and exclusive Art House films, new smash-hits and old films.
The Cinema is meant for a wide audience, has flexible pricing policy and offers discounts for schoolchildren, students and retired people.
Kiev's Kinopalace Cinema (the Cinema, for short), the leader among the modern cinemas, was opened in May 1998, becoming the first cinema of the Kinopalace Network, Ukraine's largest cinema network.
The Cinema's auditorium is equipped with the Dolby Digital Surround EX sound system and the JBL acoustics as well as with a Perlux panoramic screen.
