In 1962, at the entrance of Pushkin Park a monument to the Great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was opened.

The sculptor of the monument is A. A. Kovalev, the architect — V. G. Gnezdilov.

There is a sign graved on the pedestal made of black labrodorite: "To Pushkin from Ukrainian people".
